7 Top Wedding Trends we’re seeing in 2017:
1. Mixed Metals
Gold, rose gold, and bronze are here to stay! Whether you love one statement tone or all, mixing and matching these elements are the key to any great tables cape.
2. Printed Bridesmaid dresses
Gone are the days of matching color palettes in satin fabrics. Our bridal parties are getting funky and bringing out their personalities with patterned gowns. We’re seeing floral prints as a huge win this year.
3. Destination Bachelor/Bachelorette Parties
Wedding parties are going bigger, bolder, and farther with their bach party destinations these days. We’re seeing Austin, TX, Nashville, TN, and New Orleans, LA as a few top spots. Why not get the entire crew on board for a road trip or grand adventure!
4. Simple Modern Cakes
Bring on the clean lines, the gold foil and simple marble details. Just the slightest hint of personalization is being seen on these almost-too-pretty to eat wedding cakes.
5. More Greenery
Simple, lush, and timeless. We’re loving the hanging garlands in the reception space as well as the new circular green wreaths we’re seeing at ceremonies. The below photo was taken at our award-winning venue. The natural unbroken wreath is the perfect nod to the symbolization of unity.
6. A Touch of Tech
Whether it be a GoBo, LED up-lighting, slide shows, or documentary style films which include their guests, couples are choosing and incorporating show stopping technology. The customized SnapChat geo filter is one of our personal favorites!
7. Donut Walls
Donut walls are the new food truck! Everyone loves a late night snack and these fun and interactive displays double as a great photo op, as well as a delicious ending to the night. (photo to come)
