Viennia and Beau joined us to celebrate their two-year anniversary and relive their wedding memories. They shared their story with us and reminisced about their magical wedding here at Seven-Degrees.
How did you meet?
We met around 2003 through mutual friends, but were both in relationships which luckily didn’t work out… I think we had feelings for one another prior but hadn’t really acted on them aside from casual flirting, but after a particularly spirited weekend in Vegas for a friends birthday in late 2005, we’ve basically been together ever since. What happens in Vegas doesn’t always stay in Vegas!
Why did you choose Seven Degrees as a wedding venue?
We looked at quite a few other venues before we chose Seven-Degrees, but ultimately choose it as our wedding venue due to the location, staff, outstanding menu, and beautiful decor, but quite honestly…. It just fit our style. Our favorite aspects of the wedding were definitely the announcement as man and wife, first dance, and the cake cutting (we used a Katana!!)
What advice do you have for other couples?
If you asked us advice for a couple currently planning their wedding, the most important thing would be patience. When things seem hectic, or it feels like something may be going wrong , take a breath and remember how special your relationship and commitment to one another is, as well as the wonderful time you, your family, friends, and those closest to you will share on such a special day in your lives. Maybe throw a kiss in there too…
All in all, our guests, family, and most importantly the wedding party, (including ourselves of course) had an amazing time at Seven-Degrees, and would definitely recommend it to others.
